(Apartment is located above Optical Fashions, in historic old town building.)
** 305 1/2 S. Second Street **
East side of 2nd St., across from the Home Bakery and the Music Box, four doors south of Grand Ave.
*** ADVANTAGES: ***
* If you have 3 or 4 students in your group, this housing is MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE than staying ON CAMPUS!
For instance, if four of you stay on campus, it will probably cost you $700 or more, APIECE! This apartment, divided among four of you (including utilities) will come to about $350 each on the average (based on year-round occupancy,) depending on your energy consumption. That leaves an awful lot of money left over for food or skiing, or whatever!
*More privacy > for better grades > for a higher future income!
* Not the usual small, cramped quarters - Spacious, plenty of room for family or 3-4 students, ABOUT 1400 SQUARE FEET! (Imagine actually having your own space to think and get organized!)
* Three large bedrooms (largest is 16 feet by 14 feet.) (Think about that... measure it out... that's BIG!!)
*Large parlor can be divided into a fourth bedroom plus living room if desired.
*Bathroom has quaint antique fixtures.
NEW! Cozy gas log heater in parlor (simulates wood stove - for ambiance.)
*NEW! Clothes washer and drier
*Large kitchen and pantry - Save on food!
*Long, wide, well-lit hallway with skylights.
*Avoid the campus parking problems: (don't tell me you haven't heard!)
*Off - street parking in back of apartment.
*Easy access to Historic Downtown Laramie and its quaint shops, restaurants, galleries, and banks, the farmer's market, street dances (and other Laramie Jubilee Days activities.) Ultimate access to Optical Fashions, The Grabo' Gallery of Fine Art Photography, and Sunzappers.com, (sunglass center of the universe,) downstairs, with hundreds of frames, shades and ski goggles (Downtown is where the cool stores are in Laramie.)
*Motion detector light in back for security.
*Walking distance from campus - just 8 blocks
Character and / or previous landlord references, Background check.
Semester lease (preference given to those who will lease for the summer as well.)
RULES protect both you and us.
